Privacy Policy

Li Health LLC · Effective September 14, 2026

This policy covers information collected through our website, lihealthclinic.com. Your medical information as a patient is governed separately by our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, which controls wherever the two documents overlap.

1. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to answer you, run the site, and deliver care.

Information you give us. Your name, email address, phone number, state of residence, and the message or details you enter when you use a contact form, the quick care questionnaire, a newsletter signup, or the physician referral form.
Health information you enter. Symptoms, conditions, medications, and history you submit through a visit questionnaire or intake form. This is Protected Health Information and is handled under our HIPAA Notice, not this policy.
Payment information. Card details are entered directly with the payment processor used by our booking and intake platform — which may include Zift, Stripe, Square or a comparable PCI-compliant provider. Li Health does not store full card numbers on its own systems.
Automatically collected information. IP address, browser and device type, referring page, pages viewed, and time spent — collected through standard web server logs and, where enabled, a website analytics service such as Google Analytics.

2. How we use information

To respond to your questions and requests.
To schedule, deliver, and follow up on your care.
To process payment for visits and memberships.
To send appointment confirmations, reminders, and clinical follow-up messages.
To send newsletters or practice updates, if you asked for them — you can unsubscribe at any time.
To understand which pages are useful so we can improve the site.
To protect the site against fraud, abuse, and technical attack.
To meet our legal, regulatory, and professional obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers for their own marketing.

3. Cookies and tracking

Our site uses cookies and similar technologies for three purposes: keeping the site working (essential cookies, such as remembering a form in progress), understanding traffic patterns (analytics cookies), and measuring whether our advertising reaches the right people (marketing cookies, where used).

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the site, including booking forms, from working correctly. We honor browser-based opt-out signals, including Global Privacy Control, where our systems receive them.

4. Service providers we use

We rely on a small number of vendors to operate the practice. Each is bound by contract to protect the information it handles and may use it only for the service it provides to us. Where a vendor handles Protected Health Information, it does so under a HIPAA Business Associate Agreement.

Website hosting and content delivery.
Electronic health record and patient portal services.
Secure video visit technology.
Payment processing (for example Zift, Stripe or Square, depending on the platform handling the transaction).
Email delivery and appointment reminders.
Website analytics, where enabled.
Laboratory networks, where you choose to have labs drawn.

5. When we share information

Beyond the service providers described above, we disclose information only in these circumstances:

With your direction or consent — for example, sending a prescription to the pharmacy you choose.
For treatment, payment, and health care operations, as described in our HIPAA Notice.
When required by law, subpoena, court order, or a government or regulatory authority.
To prevent or lessen a serious and imminent threat to someone's health or safety.
In connection with a merger, acquisition, or transfer of the practice, subject to the protections of this policy and applicable law.

6. How long we keep information

Medical records are retained for the period required by the law of the state where care was provided, and by professional standards. Website enquiries and newsletter subscriptions are kept for as long as they are useful for that purpose, or until you ask us to delete them. Analytics data is retained in aggregate form.

7. Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls, and vendor due diligence to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach of unsecured Protected Health Information occurs, we will notify affected patients as required by law.

Please do not send detailed health information by ordinary email. Use the patient portal for anything clinical.

8. Your choices and rights

Marketing email. Unsubscribe using the link in any newsletter, or email us. This does not stop clinical or appointment messages.
Access and correction. Ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it.
Deletion. Ask us to delete website enquiry data. Medical records cannot be deleted where retention is required by law.
Medical records. Rights of access, amendment, restriction, and accounting of disclosures are described in our HIPAA Notice.

To make any request, email info@lihealthclinic.com. We may need to verify your identity before we act.

9. State privacy rights

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request access to or deletion of that information, to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information (we do neither), and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Information covered by HIPAA is exempt from the California Consumer Privacy Act and is handled under our HIPAA Notice.

Residents of other states with comprehensive privacy laws have comparable rights. Contact us using the details below and we will honor any right the law gives you.

10. Children's privacy

Li Health serves adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Links to other sites

Our site links to third-party services, including our patient portal and booking system. Those services have their own privacy policies, and this policy does not apply to them. We encourage you to read them.

12. Changes and contact

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make a material change, we will post the revised policy here with a new effective date. Continuing to use the site after that date means you accept the updated policy.
